What is Premarital Counseling?

Premarital Counseling is a process where we examine your relationship prior to marriage to insure your most tremendous success in marriage.  We typically do it for 6 weeks before the service.

Statistics show those who complete Premarital Counseling have greater success in marriage.

Premarital Counseling typically follows a standardized process, including

        1.  Intake

        2.  One on One Interviews

        3.  Collaborative Planning for Marriage

We are trained and prepared to offer three of the leading Premarital Inventories/Assessments.

Lets discuss the one best for you.

We can offer all our Premarital counseling remotely via Microsoft Teams.  Microsoft Teams Channel is confidential.

We are adding this assessment to our services

The assessment is an inventory that requires thirty(30) minutes to complete.

However, the assessment cannot be completed without a Symbis certified facilitator.

The assessment will help to identify risk factors as well as the combined strengths of the couple.

The program requires 8-10 sessions to complete.

There are also workbooks that the couple can use to supplement the sessions.

The program works for premarital couples, married couples, and even second married couples.

This is a premier program.

What is Prepare/Enrich

Prepare/Enrich

Prepare/Enrich is an interactive assessment that can help couples, primarily those engaged to be married, to increase relationship satisfaction. Aspects of your relationship that will be explored in premarital counseling include communication, conflict resolution, partner style and habits, financial management, leisure activities, sexual expectations and intimacy, family and friends, relationship roles, cultural differences, and spiritual beliefs.

Your scores will be reviewed from an in-depth, evidence-based couples assessment, which will be used to discuss your relationship strengths and growth areas. The assessment has been proven to improve relationship satisfaction, helping the couple grow more than they would.

Transforming Relationships

More than 4,000,000 couples worldwide have prepared for marriage or enriched their relationship by taking the Prepare/Enrich assessment and working with a Certified Facilitator.  The assessment itself has been proven to improve relationship satisfaction.

However, when working with a Certified facilitator, the effectiveness of the survey improves.

Aspects of your relationship that will be explored in premarital counseling include communication, conflict resolution, partner style and habits, financial management, leisure activities, sexual expectations and intimacy, family and friends, relationship roles, cultural differences, and spiritual beliefs.
