Our Approach towards Spiritual Care
I provide trauma informed care which means I view trauma through the lens of how our environment and culture play a significant role in how we understand and work through recent and chronic trauma and traumatic events.
I serve, in my delivery of mental health and in my mental health community, to empower the disenfranchised and build capacity by emphasizing resiliency over pathology.

Meet Our Team
Reverend Garcia graduated from the Eastern Baptist Seminary with a Master of Divinity degree (Pastoral Counseling). He later earned a postgraduate certificate in chaplaincy from Liberty University. Chaplain Ron also holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence (JD) degree from Temple University School of Law. He practiced Family Law for five years.
Chaplain Ron has been in ministry for over thirty years. He has served as a church planter and as an Associate Pastor. He is a licensed Marriage and Family therapist, and a commissioned Chaplain by the Chaplain International Fellowship. Ron is the Deputy Commnder for the Territory of Puerto Rico, Chaplains International. He is proudly endorsed by the Liberty Baptist Fellowship.
Ron is a trained Compassion Trauma professional and a Certified Trauma Treatment Professional, He is also trained in disenfranchised grief. He has studied Positive Psychology and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Chaplain Ron is a candidate for the Doctorate in Ministry (Chaplaincy) from the Liberty University. Ron is Afro-Boricua and has lived in Puerto Rico for several years. Ron is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and an experienced Pastoral Counselor
